This year, The Lord of the Rings fans will get The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict board game, in which they will be able to control the armies of Darkness and the Free Peoples, obtain the One Ring, and meet famous characters.
Office Dog Games has unveiled The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict board game, set in The Lord of the Rings universe. It is now available for pre-order for $49.99.
In this strategic project, designed for 2–4 players, players will lead the armies of Darkness and the Free Peoples during the Third Age of Middle-earth. Armed with a full-size magazine with a reusable coating and eight custom dice, participants will hire legendary characters, including Gandalf and the Witch-king, to shift the balance of power in their favor.
The game offers a modern reinterpretation of the "roll-and-write" genre, turning it into an arena of strategic clashes where everything is decided by time and foresight. Combining dice drafting, hidden movement, and resource management with intense real-time PvP combat, The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict challenges players' skills in planning, bluffing, and outplaying opponents.
In the box you will find eight unique dice, four battle boards, four markers, four player boards, a first player token, four reference cards, a One Ring board, a rule book, and a wooden Gollum marker.
The Lord of the Rings: Circle of Conflict is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026, but The Lord of the Rings fans will be able to see the game earlier at GenCon (July 30 – August 2).
