Retro gamers now have the opportunity to pre-order the Rare edition of the Super Pocket handheld retro console. The device comes pre-installed with Banjo-Kazooie, Battletoads, Cobra Triangle, and many other games.
The Hyper Mega Tech! brand, owned by Blaze Entertainment, has received another addition to its lineup. It has become known that the Rare edition of the Super Pocket handheld retro console will be released in June.
People wishing to pre-order it will have to pay $69 (5,325 rubles). In this version of the device, the team has built in 14 well-known classic games from Rare.
These include such titles as Banjo-Kazooie, Conker’s Pocket Tales, Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Battletoads, Cobra Triangle, R.C. Pro-Am II, Slalom, Snake Rattle ‘n’ Roll, Solar Jetman: Hunt for the Golden Warpship, Atic Atac, Jetpac, Lunar Jetman, Knight Lore, and Gunfright.
The Super Pocket console is equipped with a 2.8-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 320×240, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 256 MB of RAM, as well as a battery that lasts for about four hours of standalone operation. The body features a D-pad, four action buttons, and four rear triggers.
In addition, the device has an Evercade cartridge slot, allowing players to enjoy not only the pre-installed titles. It is also worth noting separately that Banjo-Kazooie has been adapted for control via the D-pad, so this platformer can be enjoyed even without a joystick.
