The delivery of a valuable collector's edition did not go smoothly.
Recently, tehkeripo shared his unfortunate experience with customs. He managed to acquire a rare floppy disk with Tsukihime Trial Edition (月姫 体験版) — a cult adult visual novel —, but it was fatally damaged during delivery.
Initially, the package was stuck in US customs for more than 40 days. When it finally passed customs control and arrived, tehkeripo was in for an unpleasant surprise inside the box.
It turned out that US customs "tore apart" the box, removed the protective packaging and bubble wrap, and, according to tehkeripo:
Some employee literally cut the floppy disk into several pieces with scissors. The paper leaflet miraculously survived, but the floppy disk itself is now destroyed.
tehkeripo will try to file a claim for damages, but such a valuable floppy disk cannot be returned. There are only 50 copies of Tsukihime Trial Edition in existence.
