Bungie will fix the Marathon interface after release and check the frequency of PvP battles

Server testing is underway in Marathon, and Bungie has received a lot of feedback. On the first day, mouse lag, non-working voice chat during matches, rare PvP, and complaints about the interface were noted.

The studio confirmed that the interface will be improved after the release; the timing will be specified later. Bungie is also studying the low load on the GPU and CPU, slowdowns, heat generation, character movement, and character inertia. The focus is on ammunition and first-aid kits: stack sizes, the effectiveness of green items, and the frequency of ammo drops.

Testing ends on March 2, the game is scheduled for release on March 5, 2026 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Two maps have been confirmed – Outpost and Cryo Archive, as well as a ranked mode, full progression trees, and contracts for all factions.
