According to Brandon Sheffield, Bluepoint Games is not the first studio that wanted to do something with the Bloodborne franchise, but FromSoftware has not approved anything yet:
I could name ten companies that have offered to make a Bloodborne sequel, spin-off, or remake, including mine. But it's just not going to happen unless FromSoftware themselves decide they want to do it.
Previously, Hidetaka Miyazaki said that Bloodborne is his most personal project. He put a lot of himself into it.
