Polish studio Simteract, known for the taxi simulator in Barcelona, is working on a new project. The team from Krakow has already released two notable simulators. Despite the problems at the start, the games have gradually strengthened the studio's position.
Now Simteract has agreed with publisher astragon Entertainment to create Bus Simulator 27. This is the largest project in the developer's history. The release is scheduled for 2026.
Bus Simulator 27 offers the largest fleet in the series – more than 45 licensed buses from 13 manufacturers, including Solaris Bus & Coach, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, IVECO BUS, Scania and Volvo.
The action takes place in the fictional Felicia Bay region with two cities and 20 districts, where the player manages routes, the company, and staff. The game is being made on the Unreal Engine 5.
A story, career, and sandbox mode are available, as well as a cooperative mode for up to four people, mod support via mod.io on PC, and compatibility with popular steering wheels and gamepads.
