Capcom is expected to study Resident Evil Requiem metrics.
Specific insider Dusk Golem recently responded to a question from a community member. The_Viksonian was interested in whether Capcom had drawn any conclusions from Resident Evil Requiem.
According to Dusk Golem, Capcom is a company that relies heavily on data:
They surely have a lot of metrics that are tracked for RE9, as was the case with previous Resident Evil series games. And, of course, they pay attention to reviews and general feedback — it is quite likely that there will soon be a survey on RE9 to get feedback.
According to the insider, Capcom will launch a survey in 2027 "a little after the release of the Code Veronica remake":
Then they will have meetings to discuss all the collected data and feedback and decide how to further develop the Resident Evil series, based on the results of Resident Evil 4, RE9 and the Code Veronica remake — to choose the best direction for the continuation [of the franchise].
