Nacon has problems, but work on the game continues.
It recently became known about Nacon's problems — it cannot pay its creditors.
Against this background, the developers of Terminator: Survivors reminded about themselves. They presented a diary and a selection of frames.
Nacon Studio Milan showed locations, as well as a couple of GIF images demonstrating weather, as well as changes in day and night.
The authors of Terminator: Survivors explained that they intend to tell a new story in a new timeline, but they want it to feel like a natural continuation of the main mythology laid down in the first two films:
This decision meant that we needed to explore not only the themes of the original films, but also how the rhythm of the narrative and the thoughtful use of cinematic effects created such a deep, emotionally rich impression.
The developers also noted that they paid special attention to the T-800:
Although each platform in the Skynet arsenal should reflect deadly power, we wanted to pay special attention to the design of the T-800. It had to truly embody the unstoppable threat that it was always intended to be. This required extensive testing to hone its lethality and make it a cutting-edge tool of the Skynet forces — both in the past and in the present.
Terminator: Survivors provides opportunities for different play styles — you can engage in open combat or choose stealth:
Whether you're wandering the open world or leading the final attack against Skynet, you decide how to approach each encounter. Although in Terminator: Survivors you can really fight your way through the world, we strived to create a project that could be tailored to each player and their unique style of play. We believe that you should be able to use everything at hand — from sniper rifles to short-barreled shotguns, pistols or light machine guns, homemade explosive devices and specialized technologies created specifically to counter machines. Or avoid the shootout altogether by choosing the path of stealth to escape.
