Suda51 Admits He Doesn't Know What Makes a Project a "Suda51 Game"

Goichi Suda himself said in an interview that he doesn't understand what people are talking about:

Honestly, I have no idea. I think it's thanks to the veterans on our team that we create Suda games.

Among the staff, there are "Suda game fundamentalists" who ensure that the project retains "enough Suda style." The team's collaboration led to key gameplay changes, including the addition of shooting at the request of programmers instead of the usual melee combat. New enemies were also created – Rotters, more diverse than standard zombies.

Although Grasshopper is now owned by NetEase Games, this does not limit the studio's creativity. Suda noted:

They want us to release unique, original games.

Art Design Center NetEase helped with large-scale environments and level backgrounds.

The studio is considering a sequel or DLC, but is focused on new original projects, including licensed games, to "give the team new experiences in limited conditions."
