Some players believe the characters deserved more screen time.
Recently, one of the creators of Cyberpunk 2077 decided to share his opinion on player feedback.
Igor Sarzynski drew attention to the fact that some complained about the "missed potential" of NPCs:
Honestly, I even like all these posts about "lost potential!!!". This means that even a short appearance [of the character] on the screen left a strong impression and helped to expand the world in the minds of the players. And, of course, this does not mean at all that we were planning something else [to do with these NPCs] ^^ As they say: you always need to leave the audience wanting to see more!
Igor disagreed with the assertion that Johnny Silverhand "did not reveal himself":
Of all the characters, Johnny probably has the least "untapped potential" ^^ he has a full-fledged story arc (even several), and quests dedicated only to him. His potential was definitely fully realized.
