Necrophosis wasn't a hit on PC, although it received high marks from players. This year, the project will be talked about again.
Publisher PQube is preparing an expansion and console release. The game was released on PC in April 2025, and will now get a version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S. The premiere is scheduled for 2026.
It is known that Necrophosis: Full Consciousness, inspired by the paintings of Zdzisław Beksiński, will be released on consoles along with the Subconsciousness expansion. It will include new locations, new terrifying creatures, and "even deeper layers of horror."
The DLC can be purchased separately on PC. A physical edition has been announced for PS5 — the box will additionally include the game The Shore.
According to the French store JustForGames, the release of Necrophosis on PS5 is scheduled for May 28, 2026.
