The company considers such actions unacceptable.

Epic Games has officially filed a lawsuit against a former contractor, known online as AdiraFNInfo, accusing him of repeatedly leaking confidential information and partner materials related to the popular battle royale game Fortnite.

Epic announced the legal proceedings in a post on the social network X. The statement said that the company has "taken legal action against a former contractor who repeatedly disseminated confidential partner intellectual property and trade secrets obtained while working with Epic."

The company emphasized that such actions are unacceptable: leaks harm partners and complicate the process of introducing new collaborations and franchises into Epic games. According to the publisher, it intends to continue taking legal action against employees and contractors who disseminate confidential information.

Although the official message did not mention the name of the violator, court documents confirmed that it was Hayden Cohen, known in the community under the nicknames AdiraFNInfo on X and AdiraFN on Discord.

Cohen, who worked as a producer at Epic Games through a third-party staffing agency, signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on September 11, 2025, but repeatedly violated it by leaking confidential information about upcoming collaborations.

The case files include screenshots of social media posts where the insider revealed future collaborations in Fortnite, including crossovers with "South Park" and Solo Leveling.
