On March 5, the deckbuilder Slay the Spire 2 and the extraction shooter Marathon were released.
The developers of Slay the Spire 2 decided to jokingly congratulate the Bungie team on the launch of the shooter, expecting that players would appreciate the sarcasm, but did not think how successful their game would be compared to the new project from the authors of Destiny 2.

The peak online of Slay the Spire 2 quickly broke the record of the original game, and has now exceeded 420 thousand people (at the time of publication). For comparison, Marathon's online reached 88 thousand people, and has now fallen to 40 thousand.
