This year, thanks to the board game "Lords of Vaala. Dragonbond," Russian-speaking users will also be able to transport themselves into the fantasy universe of Dragonbond, use powerful spells, and command generals and dragons.
The Stil Zhizni publishing house announced that it plans to release the board game "Lords of Vaala. Dragonbond" (Dragonbond: Lords of Vaala) in Russia, designed for 1–4 players.
This is an asymmetrical strategy game in which each participant receives a unique role and abilities. Players will be able to lead an army as a General, protect lands from deadly threats, and gain power. They will also be able to control a Dragon eager to sow chaos.
Each turn, gamers plan their actions, fight for control of territories, and spend vaala to play cards. The semi-cooperative mechanic adds intrigue: sometimes it is beneficial to join forces with an opponent for a common goal, and sometimes to betray everyone for absolute power.
Players will have the opportunity to use mighty spells, carry out raids, and immerse themselves in a fantasy atmosphere. "Lords of Vaala. Dragonbond," which received a 7.2 out of 10 rating on BoardGameGeek, is expected to go on sale in spring 2026.
