The Netflix adaptation of One Piece will not be stretched out endlessly like the original manga.

One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda has already determined which story arc the live-action series from Netflix should reach. This was revealed by actor Mackenyu, who plays Roronoa Zoro, on The Movie Podcast ahead of the premiere of the second season.

According to the actor, Oda has a clear vision of what point the adaptation needs to reach. This is not about completely repeating the ending of the manga, but about a specific arc at which the story in the series format should end.

"He has a clear vision of where he wants to end the story. More precisely, not end, but to what point to bring the live-action. We all know about it. We know to what point he wants to go. I was very inspired by this. There is a specific arc to which he wants to bring the story."

The One Piece manga has been released since 1997, and the anime started in 1999. At the same time, the ending of the story has not yet been determined, and the search for the legendary treasure continues. Apparently, the series from Netflix will not be stretched out for decades.

The premiere of the second season of "One Piece" took place on Netflix today, March 10 — all eight episodes are available for viewing.
