Playdigious, in collaboration with Unknown Worlds, has released Subnautica: Below Zero on iOS and Android.
Below Zero is a standalone sequel to the original Subnautica from Unknown Worlds Entertainment. It takes place on planet 4546B, but in a new arctic region. After a crash landing, the heroine must explore the icy waters and surface of the planet, trying to find out the fate of her sister.
The mobile version has a redesigned interface and adaptation for touch controls. Google Play Games achievements and cloud saves are announced on Android. Gamepad support is also confirmed. The game costs $8.99. Full support for the Russian language is declared, but the game is not available in the Russian segment of mobile stores.
As a reminder, the original Subnautica was released on smartphones in July 2025. Meanwhile, Unknown Worlds continues to work on Subnautica 2, which is scheduled for release in 2026. Currently, the game is in first place on Steam's wishlist with almost 4 million wishlist additions.
