Thanks to a new video from the Anbernic team, retro gaming fans have the opportunity to get a closer look at the RG Vita and RG Vita Pro portable consoles, which are likely to go on sale in the near future.
Anbernic has released a new trailer dedicated to the RG Vita and RG Vita Pro portable consoles. In the video, the team demonstrated the devices from different angles and revealed a full list of their characteristics.
The RG Vita is equipped with a 5.46-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, a Unisoc Tiger T618 chip, a Mali-G52 MP2 graphics processor, 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. The device also supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, runs on Android 12 and is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery.
The RG Vita Pro model received a 5.46-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, an RK3576 chip, a Mali-G52 MC3 graphics processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB storage. The console supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, runs on Android 14 and Linux, and is powered by a 5000 mAh battery (5V/9V — 18W).
Both models are equipped with a microSD memory card slot (up to 2 TB) and are capable of running games from PS2, Wii, NGC, 3DS, PSP, Dreamcast, Saturn, PS1, NDS, N64, CPS1–3, FBA, Neo Geo, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, FC, Mega Drive, SMS, GG, MSX, PCE, WSC, N‑Gage, Android and other platforms.
