Fans of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy universe, the traitors of the Imperium, and the Word Bearers have a reason to rejoice. In the near future, thanks to writer Rich McCormick, they will be able to read the book "Zardu Layak: The Crimson Apostle."
Black Library has announced the novel "Zardu Layak: The Crimson Apostle" by Rich McCormick, the author of "Renegades: Lord of Excess" and the short story "An Alliance Beyond Perfection."
The novel tells the story of the inevitable rise of a fanatical heretic from the Word Bearers Legion. Zardu Layak has gained knowledge that he will one day become a key figure in a grandiose ritual capable of forever changing the face of the galaxy.
Only one obstacle stands in his way to glory — he is not yet ready to accept the role destined for him. The hero must travel to a forgotten world and obtain a weapon that will grant him the necessary power — the occult blades of Anathame. However, the surface of the planet Helwain is teeming with ghosts, and the shadows of Zardu's past weaknesses once again breed doubts in him.
The new book will be released in all the usual formats, including electronic and audio versions, available in the new Black Library app.
