A new discussion has erupted online regarding the number of players in Marathon. In recent days, social media has been actively discussing the alleged rapid decline in the game's audience, but the developers consider such conversations to be exaggerated and harmful.
The reason for the discussions was a post by one user who claimed that the game's online presence had supposedly "dropped by 50%" just a few days after release, hinting at the possible failure of the new shooter from Bungie. According to him, the project is supposedly quickly losing its audience and heading towards oblivion.
Overwatch's senior designer Dylan Snyder reacted sharply to this, mocking such statements.
Is this 50% drop in the room with us right now? You can dislike and skip any games – it's your right – but this is unemployed virgin behavior.
