The Grim RPG The Vernyhorn Gets Ray Tracing and DLSS 4.5 Support

Polish studio INTERSTUDIO has released a new trailer for the RPG The Vernyhorn. The exact release date is still unannounced, but the developers have confirmed a collaboration with NVIDIA to create a detailed open world using modern technologies.

The video confirms that the game will receive ray tracing and DLSS 4.5 support right from the start. According to the team, this should significantly improve image quality and performance.

The action takes place in a dark world inspired by the mythology and beliefs of the early medieval Slavs. The trailer showed dense forests, foggy swamps, and harsh landscapes inspired by the nature of Central Europe. Each village, cave, or forest clearing hides its own stories, secrets, and rewards for those who love to explore the world.

The game is being created by a small team that is focusing not on a huge map, but on atmosphere, plot, and emotions. The developers admit that they were inspired by games such as Baldur’s Gate, The Witcher, and Icewind Dale, but want to create a world that will stay with the player long after the finale.

The team also traveled around Poland to scan real locations and record natural sounds. The sound of wind, the crackling of branches, and distant thunder will enhance the atmosphere of the world.
