Housemarque continues to show the gameplay of Saros, the next exclusive for PS5. A short video demonstrates that the game relies on an aggressive style of play.
Previously, the project was compared to Returnal and even called "Returnal 2.0." But new materials show that the game, despite similar elements, is forming its own style.
Recently, the developers reported that the game will have a clearly defined story. The gameplay is based not only on evasions – players will be given the opportunity to launch counterattacks from cover.
The new gameplay fragment was again short, but it clearly demonstrates the main approach of the developers. The authors want players not to wait for the actions of enemies, but to go on the offensive themselves.
Saros will be released on April 30, 2026 on PS5.
