In the spring of 2026, fans of American football and the fantasy version of Warhammer will be able to get the Warhammer Blood Bowl sports game on consoles and PCs. Plus, as early as March, Steam users will be allowed to download a demo version of this project and evaluate the "Rumble" mode.
Nacon Publishing and Cyanide Studio have announced Warhammer Blood Bowl, a turn-based sports game in the fantasy American football genre based on the famous tabletop game of the same name.
At launch, the project will have 26 factions available, along with numerous competitions, as well as single-player and multiplayer modes. Based on the latest official rules of the latest edition, the game introduces two new factions — Tomb Kings and Bretonnians.
The game will feature updated rules and team rosters, new competitions, tutorials, and a "Rumble" mode. This mode offers 30-minute matches with smaller teams and a smaller field.
Warhammer Blood Bowl will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) in the spring of 2026. Users who already have Blood Bowl III will receive Warhammer Blood Bowl for free. They will keep their accounts along with all the content they purchased or unlocked in the game.
A demo version with the new "Rumble" game mode will be available for PC via Steam from March 18 to 25.
Through the demo version, gamers will be able to evaluate not only "Rumble", but also two more modes — PvP and PvE, as well as pre-prepared teams from five factions: Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Necromancers, Khorne (Chaos) and the Old World Alliance.
