Polish prosecutors have reopened the investigation into the mysterious death of a Polish citizen that occurred in the Czech Republic in 2018. The body of a 54-year-old woman was found on a farm where, according to the investigation, illegal shamanic ceremonies were held using the psychedelic drink ayahuasca. The case files also mention the names of well-known Polish entrepreneurs — CD Projekt co-founders Michał Kiciński and Marcin Iwiński.

The investigation suggests that the tragedy may be related to one of the ceremonies in which participants were given a mind-altering drink made from Amazonian plants containing substances banned in many European countries.

Investigators have established that one of the co-owners of the farm was entrepreneur Michał Kiciński — one of the founders of CD Projekt and former head of the CD Projekt RED studio, known for The Witcher series of games. According to journalistic investigations, shamanic rituals were held on the farm, organized by a man named Bartoż B., known among participants as "Badi." It is reported that the businessman attended such ceremonies and maintained contact with their organizers, including "Badi" and another person who called himself shaman Jarosław Kordysa.

The name of the second CD Projekt co-founder — Marcin Iwiński — also appeared in the investigation materials. During the same period, he purchased real estate in the neighboring Czech town of Nýdek. According to the investigation, ceremonies may have also been held there.

Iwiński himself told investigators that he only allowed acquaintances to temporarily use the house during his absence and was unaware of any rituals being held. He also emphasized that he was not involved in their organization.

The woman's death occurred back in 2018, but the initial investigation did not lead to any clear conclusions. Several years later, Polish law enforcement agencies received new information and decided to return to the case. Now, investigators are trying to reconstruct the events of that night and find out if the property owners could have been connected to the organizers of the ceremonies.
