Weta Workshop announced that next week, March 19–20 (depending on the buyer's location), pre-orders will open for a new statue of Nazgûl from the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring".
Sculptor Brigitte Wuest captured the moment when one of the Ringwraiths looked into the "The Prancing Pony" inn, located in the village of Bree.
The flowing, unnatural drape of the cloak creates a sense of movement in the complete absence of wind, and the pose freezes on the verge between stealth and violence. The subtle elaboration of the textures of the armor, wrappings, and time-eaten blade is especially noticeable.
The character's silhouette retained a sense of the inhuman threat emanating from the ghost. This collectible item goes well with other Nazgûl figures. It can become the centerpiece of a diorama dedicated to the forces of evil, or act as an independent symbol of the Nine, enslaved by the Rings of Power and becoming servants of Sauron.
The statue, made of polystone and metal, is 17.5 cm high, 10.6 cm wide, 16 cm deep, and weighs 0.64 kg. Its release is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
