Hideo Kojima has shared details about the new content that will appear in the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach — with some of the new features also becoming available on PlayStation 5.
The PC version will offer players a number of technical improvements, including an unlocked frame rate, support for ultra-wide screens and the DualSense controller, as well as upscaling and frame generation technologies.
One of the key innovations will be a new difficulty level called To the Wilder, which will significantly complicate the passage, new items, the ability to replay bosses, and an ultra-wide screen mode of 21:9 for PS5. Sam will also get a chiral cat.
In addition, the game will feature new cutscenes with live actors, previously cut from the final version, as well as additional episodes — including new nightmares of the main character Sam.
In addition, the developers have made a number of changes to the gameplay, based on the analysis of player data.
The release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach on PC is scheduled for March 19.
