Last year at the Arena of Valor tournament, organizers noticed that what was happening on Warasin "Tokyogurl" Naraphat's monitor did not match the girl's movements. As it turned out, she didn't play herself — her boyfriend Cheerio did everything remotely for her.
The case went to court: Warasin "Tokyogurl" Naraphat and Cheerio were found guilty of violating Thai computer crime law.
The couple was sentenced to six months in prison. However, the judge reduced the sentence by half — to 3 months — and allowed them to serve it outside of prison, as they admitted the charges. The place and conditions of their detention will be determined later.
