Recently, an official mod store appeared in The Sims 4 on PC. Shortly after installing the update, complaints began to come from fans.
For some community members, modifications stopped working. In some cases, The Sims 4 does not start at all or meets players with a black screen.
The Sims 4 developers are now collecting feedback and studying the problem:
We are investigating reports that some mods and CC (custom content) are not loading in The Sims 4. The team is actively working on this and will share updates soon so you can get back to using your favorite content as soon as possible.
