The publishing house "Second Edition" announced that pre-orders for the "Undead Awakening" expansion for the tabletop role-playing game "Darkest Ones" (Wicked Ones) have opened on the crowdfunding platform CrowdRepublic.
Currently, it can be purchased for 1850 rubles, minion cards for 1500, the "Darkest Ones" RPG rulebook for 3850, tool cards for 1850, the collector's edition for 5499, the "Full Awakening" set for 4450, and the "Darkest Set" for 9000 rubles.
In "Undead Awakening," the lords of the dead gather armies of decaying corpses, spread evil throughout the world, terrorize the living, and strive to conquer the kingdom. The expansion changes the structure of encounters and the pace of gameplay, shifts the focus, but retains the audacity and exaggerated comic villainous spirit of the original RPG.
"Undead Awakening" is suitable for those who dream of playing as a real villain, and also loves the third season of "Stranger Things" and wants to play as the monsters depicted there.
Participants will be able to meet the Defiler – a collector of terrifying treasures, the Abomination – an ever-changing monster, the Lich – a necromancer mage, the Lurker – a predator hiding in the shadows, the Devastator – an unstoppable berserker, the Revenant – a risen avenger, and the Hive – a cruel mind in many bodies. The main goal of the campaign on CrowdRepublic is to collect 300,000 rubles.
Stretch goals are also provided: at 400 thousand, a promo card "Golem" with an illustration by Viktor Kostya will be added, at 450 – "Wizard", at 500 – "Paladin", at 550 – a card of a group of adventurers, at 600 – "Enchantress", at 650 – "Seer", at 700 – "Necromancer", at 750 — a card of a group of adventurers 2.
