Total sales of the souls-like Lies of P have exceeded 4 million copies. This was reported by the publisher Neowiz and the developers themselves from Round8 studio.
The project was released on September 19, 2023, simultaneously on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Mac. By June 2025, sales had reached 3 million copies, and an additional boost to interest was given by the release of a major DLC called Overture, which became available on June 6, 2025.
In an official statement, representatives of Neowiz emphasized the significance of the achievement: according to them, exceeding the 4 million copies sold mark has become an important milestone for the entire team. The developers also noted that the support and enthusiasm of players around the world continue to inspire them, and the unusual and dark reimagining of the story of Pinocchio has resonated with a wide audience.
