In March 2026, Techland returned to the first Dying Light and released a small update.
Hotfix 1.55 is designed to fix a bug related to the Dying Light: The Following expansion. When loading a save, the player could suddenly spawn in the slums.
Dying Light fans thanked Techland for their years of support. Some players called not only for the release of such technical patches, but also for improved graphics.
