Paradox Interactive continues to include some DLC in the standard edition of the game.
Recently, Paradox Interactive announced a change in its approach to distributing the global space strategy Stellaris.
As part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of Stellaris, we are giving ALL Stellaris players on PC the Utopia and Synthetic Dawn add-ons, as well as the Humanoids Species Pack. We will include all three of these DLCs, plus most of the Galaxy Edition upgrade elements, in the base game.
The base version of Stellaris will increase by $10 on May 11. Until this date, players can purchase the game at the old price.
As usual, not all players were happy. Some fans of Paradox projects really don't like it when the add-ons they bought subsequently become free.
