Arkham Knight, also known as Jason Peter Todd, is a former crime fighter Robin and Batman's partner.

At one point, he was kidnapped by the psychopath Joker. While in the abandoned wing of Arkham Asylum, the maniac brutally tortured Jason, instilling in him a hatred for Batman.

The Joker faked Todd's death by sending Batman a video of his "murder." The hero's former partner managed to escape from prison and plotted revenge on his mentor for not saving him and soon replacing him with another protégé. Over time, Jason realized his mistakes and turned into the Red Hood vigilante.
