The discontent of ordinary people has been amplified by the fact that there is no indication of the use of AI on the game's Steam page.
Users have noticed images in Crimson Desert that look like they were created by neural networks. One such example was published on the Reddit forum: the "historical" picture shows AI-typical errors - distorted faces and anatomically impossible details, such as a strange mixture of human and horse forms. According to players, this is not an isolated case: several similar finds have already appeared on the network.
The criticism is amplified by the fact that there is no indication of the use of generative AI on the game's Steam page. It should be reminded that since 2024, the platform requires developers to disclose such information, but the responsibility for this lies with the studios themselves.
