Before release, Crimson Desert was shown on PC and PS5, but the Xbox version was not demonstrated - this raised questions among Series S owners. After the release, the players themselves clarified the situation.
Comparisons of graphics have appeared online, including materials on the younger console. According to official developer data, two modes are available on Xbox Series S: "Performance" (40 FPS limit, up to 720p) and "Quality" (30 FPS limit, up to 1080p).
Judging by the video of the user KloDX9, the console as a whole keeps the target frame rate, but the image sharpness suffers, especially in dynamic battles and in cities. There are no advanced graphic effects, as on a PC, which makes the lighting look simpler.
Reddit users also share similar observations:
The image in Full HD is a bit blurry, and there is some distortion (I have V-sync enabled, maybe that's why), but so far the frame rate is pretty stable. I managed to complete the prologue and the first chapter of the game.
