The PR person for the Crimson Desert team suggested that players perceive learning the controls as learning to ride a bicycle. Now the developers themselves have spoken out — they announced a fix.
Pearl acknowledged the problem and also apologized to keyboard and mouse players:
Since the release, we have been carefully listening to your feedback and doing our best to improve the game. In particular, we are aware of the inconveniences that many players are experiencing with the controls, and we are now preparing a patch to eliminate them. We also want to apologize to keyboard and mouse players for not providing them with a satisfactory gaming experience.
