A number of gameplay and technical changes will soon be made to Diablo IV.
The authors of Diablo IV are preparing to release update 2.6.1. Blizzard Entertainment traditionally publishes a full description of the patch in advance.
The developers have listened to the Diablo IV community's feedback and have decided to significantly reduce the difficulty level of blood-soaked seals:
We have received a lot of feedback that players are unable to complete the challenges that are opened with blood-soaked seals. We hope that reducing the difficulty level will increase the likelihood of successfully completing such challenges for all players who have access to blood-soaked seals.
Some other changes and improvements:
- The Butcher's shop at Kyala Rills now has a stash and a blacksmith — players will now be able to disassemble and sell items without returning to Gea-Kul.
- The Butcher's health pool in the Fields of Hatred has been significantly increased.
- Fixed an issue where one of the Butcher's attacks would become invisible on low graphics settings.
- Fixed an issue where the camera would crash in local co-op when both players transformed into the Butcher.
- Fixed an issue where the "Rings of Scarlet Fury" icon was missing.
- Fixed an issue where the bosses of the Tunnels of Tuneros and the Herald of Darkness had significantly less health than intended.
- Fixed an issue where the paladin's wing visual effects would not appear when using the "Judge" skin.
- Fixed an issue where players could not continue through the "Deafening Tunnels" dungeon if they defeated the boss before the task to defeat him could update.
- Fixed an issue that caused a critical crash when launching the game on Windows 10 version 1909.
- Various stability, graphics, performance, and sound improvements have been made.
The release of update 2.6.1 for Diablo 4 is scheduled for March 24.
