Todd Howard Has "Matured" and Is Now Not Against Releasing Remasters of Bethesda Games

Players have long been asking Bethesda to release updated versions of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Recently, Todd Howard from Bethesda spoke with GamesRadar. The creator talked about how his attitude towards remasters has changed:

For a long time I was against [remasters], always saying "No, no, no. It's a game of its time, you just need to make sure it works [on modern systems]."

However, according to Howard, he has now "matured" and "become warmer towards remasters."

The idea of making a remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered at Bethesda "kept coming up" and he eventually agreed. In his opinion, it's "good for the audience" and this single-player game is "a kind of small time capsule."
