The popular tactical role-playing game Wartales has already received several DLCs, but the authors have not yet said their last word.
The developers of the highly-rated project for PC, Xbox Series X, and Switch are not resting on their laurels and are completing the preparation of another expansion called Fires in the Capital. The release will take place in April.
In the story expansion, players will travel to Ysandir, the capital of the Edoran Empire. Revolutionary sentiments have taken hold in the city, caused in part by a sharp rise in food prices. A group of mercenaries will have to suppress the uprising in the capital and, along the way, track down the troublemakers leading the resistance movement.
The expansion already has a page on Steam, but the developers are keeping the exact release date of Wartales: Fires in the Capital a secret for now. It is only known that the DLC will be released in April 2026.
