Recently, the creator of the global modification Fallout: London for Fallout 4 shared memories of working on the project.
In a conversation with EDGE, development lead Dean Carter said there were "moments of uncertainty." The modders weren't sure if Bethesda would allow such a large project to be released.
However, Bethesda's lawyers did not issue DMCA ("copyright infringement") and Fallout: London was successfully brought to release and presented in GOG.
Dean Carter shared that he "feels" that publishers are increasingly relying on content created by ordinary users, as it allows their games to remain relevant longer.
