The fourth season of "Re: Zero. Life from scratch in an alternative world" will start on April 8, 2026 and will consist of 19 episodes, divided into two story arcs. In anticipation of the premiere, White Fox Studio has published an opening without credits, and also presented a preview of the first episode, which in the general numbering will be the 67th.
In addition, the authors showed a preview of the mini-anime, which will be released in parallel with the main series.
The first part of the season, called The Loss Arc, will last 11 episodes and will begin airing on April 8. The second arc, The Recapture Arc, will start on August 12 and will consist of eight episodes. Formally, this is a single season, but a break of approximately two months is expected between the arcs, excluding possible special episodes.
The plot will continue the events of the third season and will once again focus on Subaru Natsuki and his allies. Rem remains unconscious after the attack of the Archbishop of Greed, and attempts to return her become the key motivation of the hero. In search of an answer, the group travels through the Augustrian desert to the Pleiades Watchtower, where, according to legend, the all-knowing sage Shaula lives.
The production of the fourth season is again being handled by White Fox Studio, which worked on the previous parts. Masahiro Shinohara remains the director, who held this position in the third season. The script is written by the author of the original light novel, Tappei Nagatsuki.
