Filming of the Tomb Raider game series from Amazon MGM Studios has been temporarily suspended due to an injury to the lead actress, Sophie Turner.
According to Deadline, production of the project has been put on hold until the actress fully recovers. In an official statement, the studio said that Turner suffered a "minor injury" and, as a precaution, filming was temporarily halted.
It is not yet known whether the incident occurred directly on the set of the series or outside the filming process. According to Deadline sources, the production break will last about two weeks, but the entire crew will be paid during this period.
