Ubisoft has released The Division Resurgence, a free-to-play shooter with RPG elements for iOS and Android, set in The Division universe. The project was announced back in 2022, and after a series of delays, it has finally reached release.
The game takes place in New York some time before the start of the original The Division. Players are invited to explore the open city, complete missions, and gradually uncover a new storyline related to a conspiracy that threatens the entire region. The campaign can be played solo or in co-op.
In addition to PvE modes, PvP activities are available, as well as the "Dark Zone" with PvPvE battles and the risk of losing loot. In the future, the developers plan to support the game with regular updates, including story expansions, new activities, and seasonal content.
At the same time, there is less good news for users from Russia. Ubisoft directly states that The Division Resurgence is not available in Russia, as well as in a number of other countries, including Belarus, China, and Iran. Russian localization is also absent in the current version.
Thus, those wishing to play from the Russian region will have to look for workarounds for installation and launch, since the game is officially distributed only in supported countries through the App Store and Google Play.
