Nexon has revealed the release window for the post-apocalyptic action game NAKWON: Last Paradise — the game will not be released before 2027. Previously, the project only had a vague "soon" mark, and many expected the release as early as 2026.
The reason for the discussion was the recent demo version on Steam, where NAKWON attracted more than 37 thousand simultaneous players. The successful playtest showed that the project is in good condition and could already compete in the market, but the developers decided to take extra time to refine it.
According to Nexon's financial briefing, the postponement is due to the desire to bring the game to the highest possible quality. Moreover, the team is actively collaborating with Embark Studios, the studio behind the successful extraction shooter ARC Raiders. This interaction should help attract a global audience to the release.
