Spanish studio The Breach, inspired by the Rockstar game, is working on a first-person Wild West project.
The project was shown in a trailer with an impressive portion of pre-alpha gameplay. The video demonstrates that the settlers' wagon will become one of the most important elements of the gameplay. The gameplay focuses on a long journey in a sandbox. The wagon serves as a mobile base, on the basis of which you can set up temporary camps, as well as improve it by adding new functions.
The game will feature a "technology tree" that allows you to build advanced buildings for extracting valuable resources in mines. The developers promise a variety of biomes that you will have to cross in search of the perfect place to found a city.
Westlanders will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The exact release date is still unknown, but the authors expect to release the project in early access in 2026.
