"They released me prematurely": TC Carson breaks silence about his return to God of War

A remake of the God of War trilogy is in development, and one of the actors has shared interesting details about the project. The star of the original games will return to the universe.

TC Carson received a warm welcome, and the actor wittily answered questions about what it's like to return to the franchise after Christopher Judge took over the reins in the "Scandinavian" chapter of the hero's life. At the MEGACON Orlando event, the actor behaved in a relaxed manner, which sharply contrasted with his stern stage image.

They came back after they realized they released me prematurely. However, the conversation turned out great. Eric came, we had dinner, discussed it, he told me what they wanted to achieve, and I agreed.

The actor is delighted with his comeback. And although there is little news about the development stage, the announcement itself was a relief after last year's rumors. God of War Trilogy Remake does not yet have a release date.

While Santa Monica Studio is focused on production, insiders point to another project in development – a game about Faye, Kratos' wife. Its release is allegedly scheduled for the first half of 2027, and the showing may take place as early as May or June 2026. The project is being prepared for PS5.
