Thanks to a new book from the Bombora publishing house, written by Aleksandr Anokhin, Russian readers will have a chance to explore the history of video game Warhammer 40,000, tracing its development from the early 1990s to the present day.
The Bombora publishing house has concluded that the time has come to introduce its readers more closely to the well-known Warhammer 40,000 franchise, whose fan base continues to grow thanks to tabletop and computer games, miniatures, and more.
It has begun work on a book covering the history of video games based on "Wakha" from the early 1990s to the present day. The publication is being prepared by Aleksandr Anokhin, an author for the magazine "Mir fantastiki" and one of the most passionate fans of this universe, as well as the translator of the official cookbook for The Elder Scrolls.
With the help of this book, readers will learn how games adapt tabletop mechanics to the digital format, strive to preserve the original lore, and why some projects grow into a genuine cultural phenomenon, as happened with the iconic Dawn of War.
Unfortunately, Bombora employees cannot yet say when the book will be released or at what price it will be available for purchase.
