Recently, during a conversation with investors, CD Projekt RED touched upon the addition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition to the Game Pass catalog.
CDPR co-CEO Michał Nowakowski explained that this move will help introduce a new generation of players to "The Witcher 3":
Including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition in the Xbox Game Pass library is a great opportunity to attract more players to our universe. In the 10 years since the game's release, a whole new generation of players has grown up — many of whom have never personally experienced the story of Geralt.
According to Nowakowski, adding the game to Game Pass allows CDPR to "bridge this gap and give new players the opportunity to find out why The Witcher 3 has become such an important game for so many people."
In addition, this move helps to further fuel interest in the "Witcher" universe before the start of the new saga (this "saga" includes The Witcher 4 and subsequent games).
