Looks like Valve wants to bring back the battle royale Danger Zone to Counter-Strike 2 - a new mechanic has been found in the game

Some connoisseurs have long wanted to bring back "Danger Zone" to CS2.

An update was recently released for Counter-Strike 2. The well-known blogger-dataminer Gabe Follower drew the community's attention to Aquawave's find.

A new object "Cash Stack" has been added to the game. It gives +250 dollars, and also plays the animation of picking up money from the "Danger Zone" (battle royale Danger Zone from CS: Global Offensive).

Gabe Follower also demonstrated a console command in action. One popular version is that Valve is planning to bring back Danger Zone mode to CS2:

Using the console command "cash_player_drop_on_death 16000" activates the dropping of cash, so either the developers are preparing something strange, or "Danger Zone" is really coming back.
