It seems that preparations for the Elden Ring movie by Alex Garland are already in full swing.
The first frames from the supposed filming location of the Elden Ring movie have appeared online. A video, filmed by fans and published on TikTok and Reddit, shows the construction of decorations. Among them, users identified a statue of Marika and stone ruins reminiscent of locations from the game. The full recording can be viewed at link, and screenshots are presented below.
The Elden Ring adaptation was announced in May 2025. Production is being handled by A24 in collaboration with Bandai Namco, with Alex Garland, known for the films "28 Days Later," "Ex Machina," and "Annihilation," as the director.
Since then, details about the film have been scarce. Neither the plot, nor the cast, nor the exact release dates have been revealed. According to current estimates, the picture is unlikely to be released before 2027. At the same time, the appearance of decorations may indicate that production is gradually moving forward.
