The Heavy Duty add-on for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor will bring back the seasonal Egg Hunt mode from the original game, but reworked for Survivor.
Players will collect eggs across the map using the Bosco drone and deliver them to the cargo module, fulfilling set quotas and earning bonuses for extra eggs.
In the final stage of the mission, when delivering the last egg, a Brood Nexus appears above the module, spawning a wave of enemies. After destroying them, players will have to attack the boss to complete the mission and save the collected eggs.
Developers from Funday Games note that the key difference from the original Egg Hunt is that the mission is now built on a star-shaped scheme: eggs are collected and returned to the central module, making positioning and route planning especially important.
The DLC with the new mode will be released on April 30, 2026.
